Horace Brodzky

1885-1969
Horace Brodzky (1885 – 1969) was born in Melbourne, Australia. Moved to London in 1908. Studied at City and Guilds Art School and had a first solo show. Became friendly with artists such as Henri Gaudier-Brzeska, Jacob Epstein, David Bomberg and Mark Gertler. In 1914 joined The London Group and began to be included in modern art shows, New York in 1915–23.
